My career is based on the successful delivery of solutions to drive business change and growth; enabling organisations to exploit digital opportunities to make things better, faster and more profitable for everyone.

My successes have been built from a relentless focus on the user and their needs – by colouring in the big picture in incremental, iterative steps (“start small, think big, fail fast, scale quickly”) – and by speaking and thinking in the language and outcomes of the business.

I have worked in many sectors in both client- and supplier-side roles and have extensive senior management, C-level and Board experience.

My background is in the development & execution of innovative Digital strategies, architecture (enterprise and solution) and in digital application development – originally as an application architect, leading some highly successful large change programmes to enable step-change improvements in business capability. I’ve been working with Java and open-source for a long time and have kept my hands-on skills in architecture, design and software development fresh, most recently working with JavaScript applications (MEAN stack, REST APIs & Google Cloud hosting).
