David Macfarlane, Managing Director, Gamma

David Macfarlane is the Managing Director of Direct at Gamma. A passionate advocate of digital transformation and cloud communications, David can be regularly found at industry events and with customers advising on changes and trends in the global business communications landscape. With over 30 years of experience in crafting and delivering managed services for Enterprise organisations, he is an expert in bridging the commercial and technical intricacies of today's business environment into real value. He joined Gamma in 2012, following the acquisition of his last start-up communications business, Varidion Limited and set about building Gamma’s direct go to market business which has achieved over 35% CAGR since. Prior to this, David had senior IT roles in the NHS, a large city law firm and Brokerage House and was the co-founder and CTO at Sirocom Limited and Group CTO at Azzurri Communications. David holds a BSc in Electronics & Telecommunications from Brunel University London.
