Monitoring and managing the performance of complex hybrid IT infrastructure environments

Report Author(s): Paul Bevan

Bloor has undertaken some primary vendor research to gain a clearer understanding of the critical functionality requirements for managing Hybrid IT Infrastructure environments and the ability of vendors to meet them. Our findings show that there is a high level of functionality when it comes to monitoring diverse IT infrastructures, but that key differences start to emerge between vendors when we look at the ability to capture data in real-time and then apply various Artificial Intelligence techniques to help proactively identify problems and automate their remediation. Not all businesses will require such sophisticated capabilities but cutting through the jargon of over-used terms like AIOps and AI will help business and vendors alike understand the applicability of these solutions to particular use cases.
