Is the UK & Ireland falling behind in its level of investment in Digital?

Investment levelsOver the last few weeks we’ve been conducting a survey on Digital Transformation where we’ve been asking CIOs to indicate how their organisation is approaching their digital transformation and how big a priority it has been with their executive board, what challenges they have been facing and where tensions lie in conducting these transformation projects. You can get a copy of the survey results on the CIO WaterCooler.

Investment levels

As part of the survey we asked the CIOs to judge how satisfied they were (out of 10) by the level of investment being made by their organisations. The vast majority of respondents felt indeed positive with regard to the investment level made, giving an average score of 6.1 out of 10.

However those IT leaders responsible for operations in both UK & Ireland, and the rest of the world (ROW) were clearly less satisfied with the level of investment than those from Europe and North America.

Do you feel that the UK is doing enough to keep up with the digitisation of products and services compared to other markets?
