Steve Humber, Chief Digital Information Officer, Coventry University
Steve Humber is the Chief Digital Information Officer at Coventry University. His role is to ensure that the use of Information Technology and digital technology can create, support and underpin new global business models and products that the University will use to disrupt the HE sector and improve the student experience and outcomes. He is driving agenda for a digital future at Coventry. Previously Steve had 17 years’ experience at the engineering giant, Rolls-Royce plc in which he held various senior IT leadership roles including IT Director - Nuclear Sector; Group IT Strategist, Head of Information Systems - Civil Aerospace; as well as CIO at a Rolls-Royce JV. Steve is also a former Olympic & World Short Track Speed Skater and still competes in the Masters category. He recently came 2nd at the World Masters short Track competition representing Great Britain at the games in Melbourne Australia.

Heena’s journey has gained her experience with implementing change in diverse and complex environments in over 40 countries giving her a wealth of experience with many different cultures spanning the Defence, Services, Aerospace and Steel Industries. A dynamic Senior IT Executive and IT Transformation specialist with over 19 years experience in successfully implementing complex IT strategies and IT transformation programmes within global organisations such as Rolls Royce, G4S, Harsco Environmental and Babcock international.
