Simon Nichols, Director of Wellbeing | Thrive: A Mental Health and Wellbeing company
After spending 26 years in the corporate IT Sales and marketing space, Simon realised his passion was helping others to manage their Mental Health better and to help recognise poor mental health in others. Using the skills gained during his time at the large multi-nationals in senior management positions, Simon has a unique insight into the ways organisations and management treat Mental Ill health and now helps corporations realise their corporate and social responsibilities and encourage all of their employees to embrace good mental health working practices. An experienced Keynote and conference facilitator, Simon also has the requisite skills needed to ensure that everyone leaves these sessions with more tools and experience than when they started. Married with 5 Children, a Dog and a Cat and living in Milton Keynes, Simon knows what working from home pressure is all about.
Event Chair: Ian Golding, CIO
Until recently, Ian was the Interim CIO at The Natural History Museum, developing the Technology Strategy and Vision to support its dual role as a centre of excellence in leading scientific research and as a world leading museum. In 2017 as the RNLI’s first CIO (Interim), Ian created the Institution’s first digital, information and technology strategy including new capability for fundraising, predictive analytics and data-based insights that helped the RNLl to break the chain of events that can tragically lead to drowning. Ian has held recent posts as Interim IT Director at Southern Housing Group with prior to roles including as Group CIO, Data Privacy Officer and Senior Partner for The ERM Group through its largest growth phase over 4 private equity cycles, to 5,200 staff across 140 offices worldwide.
