Tom Hoyland, Senior Agile and DevOps Lead at Sky Betting & Gaming
Metaphors, Modes and Micro-Scaling
How we think about delivery has a profound effect on how we deliver, the methods we select and what we measure, at a team, tribe and organisational level. Join me to hear about how we’ve been scaling down in order to scale up patterns that work across contexts and the useful recipes we’ve developed to balance deep collaboration with a drive to move fast. With a background in engineering, product development and service transformation, Tom gets under the bonnet of products, teams and organisations to understand what makes them tick and how they could be better. He is currently an Expert Agile and DevOps practitioner, coach and mentor at Sky Betting & Gaming. Previously Tom has led Agile and Digital Transformations at the UK Home Office and across UK Police Forces.
