Lance Fisher, CIO/CTO and Technical Consultant
Being a Data Driven CIO – working with Crypto and Blockchain technology
Lance Fisher is a highly experienced CIO, specialising in the last 10 years in the recruitment sector. He was recently on assignment as CIO of at Talent International and before that CIO of SThree. Previously he was in the Finance sector being CIO at FTSE and ICAP. In 2018 Lance set up Infenics which is his own consultancy vehicle, to provide independent specialist IT recruitment advice. His skill is understanding the sector, the data and the vendors and helping recruitment businesses make right technology decisions. “My consultancy model is simple, only the larger recruitment companies can afford a large IT organisation or a top CIO. For smaller and mid-size companies, it makes real commercial sense to have access to a heavyweight CIO and technical expert only when you need it. As your business grows, you need to make the right technology choices which is where I can help”. He has a passion for Recruitment technology and a real passion for Data and how data insights can empower your business. “There are different variants of CIO’s and the consistent theme for me, in all my CIO roles as always been a focus on data. In recruitment, that is candidate, client data, deal data. At Icap it was Financial information and trading data, at FTSE it was Index data. I have always had a passion for data. So, I like to think of myself as a “Data Driven CIO” and focusing on that to help make the business make the right decisions from data and data insights.”

A customer and people focused leader, she brings more than 20 years’ of change management and delivery experience to the role, having worked at Bibby Financial Services, ABN AMRO, Commerzbank and DXC. Her passion is emerging technologies and agile ways of working. Danette’s mission is to lead the bank’s digitisation and technology strategy to enhance their customer proposition, deliver growth and build the Bank’s brand reputation through innovation and change.
