Case Study: Boosting Cambridge University Press’ capabilities in managing advanced software development

In 2020 Cambridge University Press (the Press) searched for an expert advisor who will help grow the capabilities of its Academic technology team. As a technology consultancy and software delivery partner, Future Processing’s task was to boost the team’s capabilities in managing advanced software development and in developing its digital products. The team have helped expand the capabilities of Cambridge Core, the platform that brings together the Press’s over 36 000 academic books and over 1.6 million journals publishing. Cambridge Open Engage, an open content and collaboration platform, was developed in-house with Future Processing and in consultation with researchers.
